WESTFIELD FIREWORKS CELEBRATION ON JULY 22ND

Celebration of Community at Westfield Middle School features music & vendors

WESTFIELD- Mayor Michael A. McCabe announced that the City will hold its annual “Fireworks for Freedom” celebration on Saturday, July 22nd, at Westfield Middle School Field on West Silver Street. The event represents a return to traditional celebration of the 4th of July holiday with musical entertainment from Korey & The Knightsmen, food vendors, and a fireworks show from Pyrotechnico of Jaffrey, New Hampshire. 


The Presenting Sponsor for the 2023 Fireworks for Freedom is Westfield Gas & Electric & Whip City Fiber.  Platinum sponsors include Advance Mfg. and the Amanti Family, Westfield Bank, and PeoplesBank.  Gold Sponsor is BankESB; and bronze sponsors include Richard K. Sullivan, III, Attorney at Law; Lisa Oleksak-Sullivan, in memory of Patti Andras, Westfield Electroplating, and The Tavern Restaurant.  Park Square Realty is also a Contributor.


The Middle School lawn will be open at 5:00 pm that evening. Mayor McCabe thanked the Westfield Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Public Works, the Greater Westfield Boys & Girls Club, and the Westfield Public Schools for their contributions to this event.
