SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT PROJECT TO COMMENCE ON ORANGE STREET ON WEDNESDAY, JULY 12TH

WESTFIELD- Mayor Michael A. McCabe, in conjunction with the City’s Office of Community Development and the Engineering Department, announced that construction will commence on the replacement of sidewalks in the Orange Street neighborhood on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

The project includes the removal of existing sidewalks and replacement in-kind with new concrete sidewalks.

The project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and municipal funds from the Engineering Department’s Fiscal Year 2024 construction account.

Work will be performed by Gomes Construction Company of Ludlow.
