Pioneer Valley On The Move Offers Physical Therapy and Gait Analysis
Westfield- A grand opening celebration of Pioneer Valley On The Move, located at 45 Meadow Street will be held on Wednesday, July 12th at 2:00 PM.
Pioneer Valley On The Move (PVOTM) is a physical therapy clinic owned and operated by Rachel Burke, physical therapist and certified running gait analyst. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University in 2008, and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 from Nova Southeastern University. She then became credentialed as a Mckenzie Certified Therapist in 2017. With experience in inpatient and acute physical therapy, Rachel dedicated 5 years to outpatient care before she decided to open her own business.
As a runner who has completed 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and triathlons, Rachel’s passion for running has driven the PVOTM emphasis on one-on-one care in her practice. Services include physical therapy evaluations/treatments, running gait analysis, runner readiness assessments, and loading assessments. Rachel’s goal is to help those who are injured and those looking for preventative care to avoid injury.
The grand opening celebration will include a ribbon cutting ceremony and a $5 dollar raffle with a chance to win gift certificates to the Westfield Yoga Center, Jake’s Northampton, Pioneer Valley On The Move, local artists, and more. All raffle proceeds will be donated to Whip City Animal Sanctuary. Light Refreshments will be served.
