Gary Rome Hyundai to Host Toy Drive & Pictures with Santa & Mrs. Claus
November 22, 2023 HOLYOKE, MA: Gary Rome Hyundai has partnered with local comedian Jess Miller of Funnyraising Comedy Shows and OMG! Comedy Shows to host a toy drive for foster children. The “Stuff the Trunk” toy drive will be held at Gary Rome Hyundai located at 150 Whiting Farms Road in Holyoke, MA and will begin on Monday November 27th and will end on Sunday December 10th. In addition to the toy drive, there will be a meet Santa & Mrs Claus event at the dealership on Sunday December 10th from 11am to 4pm. Families are encouraged to attend to take pictures and help foster children.
“This is our first year partnering with Gary Rome but the 10th year for our Annual Toy Drive for Foster Kids in Western Mass,” said comedian Jess Miller. “We started in 2013 at the Hukelau and have been doing comedy shows every year since. This year, due to all of the economic hardships people are facing, especially foster families and children in need, we wanted to reach more than just an adult audience and provide a way to get kids involved. We greatly appreciate Gary Rome Hyundai’s involvement this year as well as other local area businesses and hope we are able, through a combined effort, to get toys to over 3,000 local kids.”
Toys can be dropped off at the Gary Rome Hyundai showroom during regular business hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 8:30pm
Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm
Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Sunday 11:00am to 5:00pm
On Sunday December 10th there will be a magical day where kids can meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their cheerful elves at Gary Rome Hyundai! This enchanting gathering aims to collect more toys for our toy drive, benefiting foster kids and children in need through Western Mass News. It's the perfect opportunity for children to experience the joy of the holiday season while making a difference in the lives of others. To keep costs low, it is suggested that guests use cell phones to take pictures or bring a camera Suggested donation: $10 or bring a new, unwrapped toy. 1 ticket is good for 1 family picture (no individual pictures will be taken unless you claim an additional ticket).
