“Fill the Trunk” Gary Rome Hyundai Hosts Supply Drive for Second Chance Animal Services
August 9, 2022 (Holyoke, MA): Gary Rome Hyundai, located at 150 Whiting Farms Road in Holyoke, is hosting a supply drive for Second Chance Animal Services that will run now through September 30th. Second Chance Animal Services is a non-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1999. Second Chance began as an animal shelter and grew to help more pets in need. Today, Second Chance operates Community Veterinary Hospitals in North Brookfield, Southbridge, Springfield, and Worcester, Massachusetts and they provide access to the highest-quality veterinary care for all pets. Subsidized rates are provided to underserved communities to ensure access to care for all pets in need. Second Chance helps over 40,000 pets per year through full-service veterinary care, spay/neuter services, adoption services, community and educational outreach programs, training, and a pet food pantry.
“We are all about animals at Gary Rome Hyundai. It only makes sense to host a supply drive for a veterinary hospital that gives pets a second chance,” said Gary Rome. “We strive to do the next right thing and lead by example. I hope the community joins us by filling the trunk with supplies, most of which are common household items.”
The supply drive at Gary Rome Hyundai will help reduce overhead costs for the veterinary hospitals, which allows them to provide low-cost care for pets.
