City of Westfield Seeking Nominations for 2023 Volunteer of the Year

Westfield - Mayor Michael McCabe announces that after a three-year hiatus, the City of Westfield is bringing back the Volunteer of the Year Award. The purpose of this award is to honor an individual’s outstanding dedication and contributions through volunteering in our community. Westfield is incredibly lucky to be served by so many dedicated volunteers, and we would like to give well-deserved recognition.

To be eligible for this award, you must meet the criteria listed on the application, and be nominated by someone else. Self-nominations will not be accepted. The information packet, which includes the nomination form can be found on the mayor’s page at www.cityofwestfield.org, or by visiting the mayor’s office in City Hall at 59 Court Street or requested by phone at 413-572-6201.

The deadline for nomination applications is November 15, 2023 at 5:00 PM. Applications may be submitted by email to mayor@cityofwestfield.org, or by mail to the mayor’s office in City Hall at 59 Court Street, Rm 202, Westfield MA 01085.

The award ceremony will take place at City Hall in the City Council Chambers on December 20, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Awardees will be notified by December 13, 2023 to confirm attendance, and all nominees and nominating organizations are welcome and encouraged to attend.
