Celebrate 30th anniversary of Pilgrim Candle
Westfield –Please join Mayor McCabe on Wednesday, December 21 at 12:00 PM at Pilgrim Candle, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of this family owned and operated business.
Joe Shibley started Pilgrim Candle out of his basement in 1992, with the intent of selling his candles wholesale. Joe perfected his formulas and soon moved the company to the Mill at Crane Pond and added the retail component, led by his wife Donna. In 2000, the company moved to Bismarck Place and has since moved next door to where it sits now, at 36 Union Ave. The company not only manufactures high quality candles for retail sale, along with a beautifully expanded collection of clothing, kitchen ware, gifts and accessories, but true to the original plan, has a successful wholesale business as well.
A brief ceremony will take place to honor Pilgrim Candle’s longstanding success in Westfield, and light refreshments will be served.
