BAYSTATE NOBLE BALL SUPPORTS NURSES IN WESTFIELD

WESTFIELD, MA – October 4, 2022 - - It will be a “Starry, Starry Night” when the 56th annual Baystate Noble Ball brings hundreds of friends together for an evening inspired by the art of Vincent Van Gogh on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.

The Baystate Noble Ball is the major fundraiser for healthcare in the greater Westfield area. This year, proceeds will help create a Simulation Lab at Baystate Noble Hospital. This lab will provide educational and training opportunities to Baystate Noble nurses, creating more hands-on experiences in a simulated environment.

“Providing nursing education on campus allows us to reach the nurses where they are. The opportunity to bring this level of experiential training to our team will only help us advance the care we can provide patients,” said Baystate Noble Hospital Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Nursing Officer Lissette Grimaldi. “The support of donors is crucial to complete this project, and I hope our community will come together to make this space a reality by attending the Baystate Noble Ball.”

The Simulation Lab will be outfitted with two new state of the art responsive mannequins, crash cart, defibrillator and other critical care tools. The teaching space will also be open to other organizations in the community, including Westfield Vocational Technical High School’s Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Program and the American Red Cross CNA Program.

The Baystate Noble Ball begins at 6 p.m. with a creative cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing to the sounds of The Voice star and Springfield native Michelle Brooks Thompson. Tickets are $200. per person and can be purchased by visiting BaystateHealth.org/NobleBall.
