Bacon Wilson, P.C. announces David A. Lavenburg as a Shareholder for 2024.

Bacon Wilson is pleased to announce that one of the firm’s attorneys has been promoted.


David A. Lavenburg has been named a shareholder as of January 1, 2024. Since joining the firm in November 2020, he has been an integral part of the firm, focusing on loan recovery, loan workouts, collection matters, restructuring, debt repayments, and bankruptcy. Upon making the announcement, managing shareholder Jeffrey I. Fialky stated “Dave is an exceptional attorney and person, and on behalf of all Shareholders, we are thrilled for Dave to be our partner.”


David Lavenburg received his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, and his J.D. from the Capital University of Law School in Columbus, Ohio.


David has over thirty-two years of Litigation experience and chairs the Creditor’s Rights, Collections, and Bankruptcy Practice Group at Bacon Wilson. David is admitted to practice in both the Massachusetts and Connecticut State Courts and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.


In the firm’s Probate department, he supports the litigation needs in cases involving contests, breaches of fiduciary duty, lack of capacity, and undue influence claims. In the commercial and corporate department, David represents the firm’s clients in partnership disputes, commercial litigation, general business litigation, and commercial lease disputes. He has also been the Chairman of the Longmeadow Zoning Board of Appeals since 2006. David is committed to listening and understanding the objectives of his clients and working with them to provide aggressive, strategic, and cost-effective representation every step of the way to settlement or trial, and beyond.
