Amelia Park Arena Board of Trustees appoints Billy Fellows as the newest General Manager of Amelia Park Arena.
Amelia Park Arena is pleased to announce the newest General Manager, Billy Fellows. Billy is a lifelong resident of Westfield and graduated from Westfield State University in 2017. Billy has been heavily involved in the Westfield Community for many years. Including, starting his hockey career at Amelia Park the day it opened in 2000, where he continues to skate every year.
Amelia Park Arena has been through several General Managers in the past few years, however Kevin Chrisanthopoulos, President of the Board of Trustees, believes they’ve finally found the one. “Billy brings the passion and the love for the entire complex that has been missing. In a short amount of time Billy has displayed all the qualities desired in a great general manager. The Board is looking forward to many successful years with Billy at the helm.”
Billy was previously the Assistant General Manager of Amelia Park for 8 months. In that short period he brought several new successful programs and events to the rink, including the 1st Annual Spring Classic Hockey Tournament and 1st Annual Cornhole Tournament. Billy steps into his new role as the youngest General Manager in Amelia Park history.
The Amelia Park Arena Board of Trustees appointed Billy Fellows as the next General Manager at the annual board meeting on Friday, June 24, 2022. Fellows’ new role at Amelia Park Arena became effective Monday, June 27, 2022.
