Lead Server/Banquet Captain ($15.50/hr. plus gratuity)
As a lead server/banquet captain you will be working under the direction of the banquet coordinator and banquet supervisor.
Duties include:
Assisting with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, chairs, table cloths and buffets.
Preparing room for dining by setting tables with condiments, candles, napkins, glassware, plates, and utensils.
Taking direct care of Brides & Grooms by cocktailing beverages, providing food service, and any other needs they may have.
Serving VIP guests with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.
Presenting ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner.
Maintaining dining atmosphere with an enthusiastic attitude.
Protecting the establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
Training & assisting in the training of new staff - tray carrying, table set up, proper kitchen etiquette, etc.
Relaying orders to the kitchen by recording guests' meal choices and identifying any special dietary needs and special requests.
Serving orders by picking up and delivering guests' meal choices from the kitchen
Responding to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process.
Maintaining table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
Job Requirements:
A positive and outgoing attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work as a part of a team.
At least 1 year of Banquet Serving or Restaurant experience.
Reliable transportation.
Neat and professional appearance.
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
